Honda XL750 Transalp: With 755cc parallel-twin engine that generates 92 horsepower, this super bike can take adventure to a new level, all you must know

Honda XL750 Transalp: The same engine that powers the new CB750 Hornet also powers the XL750 Transalp. This 755cc parallel-twin engine with liquid cooling generates 92 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and 75 Nm at 7,250 rpm. It is coupled to a 6-speed transmission. This motor, like the majority of parallel-twin engines today, has a 270-degree firing order, giving it the distinctive V-Twin engine “pulse” (which powered the Transalps of yesteryear). Although the engine is shared by the two, the Transalp receives a customised mapping that is appropriate for its intended use.

This Super bike is more adventurous

A new steel diamond frame with this engine nestled inside it is held in place by a 43mm Showa USD fork and monoshock with just preload adjustment on each. The Transalp is undoubtedly towards the more “adventurous” end of the spectrum with 210mm of ground clearance, 21-/18-inch tubed wire-spoke wheels, and block-pattern tyres. Its 208kg kerb weight is significantly less than that of its closest competitors, including the Tiger 900 Rally (196kg dry) and the BMW F 850 GS (233kg kerb).

This may rival many super bikes

There are numerous electronic rider aids available, including a bidirectional quickshifter, 5 riding modes, cornering ABS, and traction control.

The Forza 350 and Hawk 11 cafe racers, which Honda has also patented abroad, are unlikely to be imported into India due to the country’s specialised market for maxi-scooters and cafe racers. With competitors from companies like BMW, Triumph, and Ducati, the middleweight adventure bike market is one of the fastest-growing in India (and around the world). Because of this, we believe there’s a good likelihood that the Honda XL750 Transalp will arrive in India, and we hope the CB750 Hornet will do the same.
