Additionally, it is now possible to recover recently deleted texts, and the good news is that Apple will give users up to 30 days to do so. You can flag conversations as unread using the new software update.
Apple has also updated its Maps app, which now features multistop routing and 3D-like images. Additionally, one can look up public transportation costs. The capabilities of CarPlay have also improved. Apple has added support for multiple screens and one can now check several parameters such as speeds, car temperature, and other details.
The lock screen has also been updated by Apple. People can examine their favourite photographs in iOS 16 and change the fonts used on the lock screen. Even a series of widgets is now visible for quick access to information. The company also offers the ability to design many Lock Screens, each with its own background and aesthetic. On the lock screen, notifications can be viewed in a hidden view, stacked view, or extended list view. Additionally, Live Activities is now accessible from the lock screen. So, you will be able to follow your meal delivery or check the game’s score.
There is also a new iCloud Shared Photo Library that allows you to share photos with your family. To share your photos with your relatives, all you have to do is move them here. Later this year, this feature will be available. The most recent version also provides an enhanced Focus mode. Now, it may be turned on in a variety of ways. One can simply use the Control Center or opt for the automatic process.
Apple Pay Later was also unveiled by the company. One can spread out the cost of an Apple Pay purchase among four payments over a period of six weeks without incurring any additional fees from Apple. There are other features too, including Live captions, Live Text quick actions, Live text for video. Those who use Apple’s Mail app will now be able to unsend emails or schedule them.
