The side-mounted reverse-boomerang headlights on this KTM model, which are similar to those on previous KTM models and may be LED DRLs, are also present. And we anticipate a pair of projector headlights positioned vertically in the centre. The fuel tank extensions have a rather crisp appearance and add to the visual mass close to the front. In keeping with other KTM Duke models, the entire bodywork is likewise highly aggressive.
KTM 990 Duke: What’s new?
Additionally, KTM has been working on a new LC8c mill, and in China, type clearance documents for this mill were released. The new 990 Duke is anticipated to use the same. For comparison, the KTM 990 Duke’s predecessor had its debut in 2004 and was discontinued a few years later. The most recent model is therefore anticipated to have all the bells and whistles. LED lighting, riding mode traction control, wheelie control, ABS mode, and other technologies are probably on the list. On the future iteration, a TFT screen is also anticipated.
Here are some expected details
The test bike shown here has an offset monoshock and WP USD front forks. The braking system consists of two front discs and one rear disc, each placed on 17-inch alloy wheels covered with rubber with a road bias. Due to the failure of the 790 Duke in India, KTM is most likely to launch the new 990 Duke only on the international market.
