Mahindra XUV100: With a new vehicle that will compete with the likes of the Hyundai Exter, Mahindra is attempting to take a piece of the compact SUV market. The first early prototype of the anticipated sub-4 metre SUV has recently been spotted. But the compact and sub-4-meter segments always had the biggest sales of SUVs.
This SUV is coming to replace this old version
The outdated KUV100 NXT will be replaced spiritually by the future Mahindra XUV100 compact SUV. The term “XUV100” has also been trademarked by Mahindra. It’s expected that the 1.2L 3-cylinder NA petrol engine will have the same 82 horsepower and 115 Nm. Whereas the Exter uses a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (83PS/114Nm), mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT. Currently, the KUV100 is only available with a single 5-speed manual gearbox, but an AMT is also possible. Although interiors are currently under wraps, it should have characteristics typical for this market. It’s possible that the same vehicle will be electrified and go by the designation XUV200.

Mahindra XUV100: Know about the other details

This is not a Mahindra XUV100 EV, which is obvious from the E20 Fuel sticker on the rear windscreen. Beyond the back door, there don’t seem to be many automobiles; this is comparable to the XUV300. Future updates to the XUV300 could have all or most of these design elements.
