The Mahindra XUV700 MX Series comes with a 195bhp/380Nm 2.0-litre Turbo GDi mStallion petrol engine or a 153bhp/360Nm 2.2-litre Commonrail Turbo diesel mHawk engine, both with a six-speed manual gearbox. The Safari facelift, on the other hand, is powered by a BS6 Phase 2-compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 168bhp and 350Nm of torque. This engine is combined with a six-speed manual transmission and a torque converter that sends power to the front wheels.
