Maruti Suzuki Brezza 2023: Changes in exteriors

The front and rear of the two variants differ from one another the most visibly in terms of appearance. The headlamp and grille components look the same as previously, but the new automobile has far more minute decoration. The grille, which now protrudes onto the headlight assembly, has a new gunmetal finish rather than chrome, and the dual projector LED headlamps get a new two-part LED DRL. Additionally, the nose is more erect and flatter.

Performance has been increased

The 1.5-liter petrol engine in the 2023 Brezza produces 103 hp and 137 nm of torque, which is 2 hp and 1 nm less than the previous model. The 2022 Brezza ZXI+ MT (top variant) weighs 1,190kg, which is 60kg more than the previous Brezza petrol, as a result of the extra features and safety. In our performance testing, the 2023 Brezza accelerates slowly from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour (12.68 seconds), reaching a top speed of 159 kilometres per hour. In contrast, the 2020 model completed the sprint in just 11.52 seconds and reached a greater top speed of 167kph.

Dimensions remain the same

The new Brezza’s dimensions, which are 3,995mm in length and 1,790mm in breadth, are the same as those of its predecessor. However, the new Brezza is 45mm taller than the previous model, standing at 1,685mm, mostly because of the installation of the new roof rails. The 2,500mm wheelbase also stays the same.
