The Maruti Suzuki Eeco, known as the country’s cheapest 7-seater car, has surpassed one million units in sales. The company announced today that this car was first introduced in 2010, and that one million units have been sold since then. The Maruti Eeco is available in 5- and 7-seater configurations, with a total of 13 variants including cargo, ambulance, and tourer models.

This vehicle’s starting price has been set at Rs 5.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has introduced the new Maruti Eeco, which has a refreshed interior and advanced features. This vehicle is powered by a 1.2-liter K-Series Dual-Jet VVT petrol engine that produces 80.76 PS and 104.4 Nm of torque.
Upgraded features
The Maruti Suzuki Eeco now has a reclining front seat, a cabin air filter, a dome lamp, and a new battery saving function. Apart from that, 11 safety features have been added to this car to improve its safety. There are illuminated hazard lights, dual airbags, an engine immobiliser, an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), a child lock, sliding doors, and reverse parking sensors, among other features.
