Maruti Suzuki Ignis: There is no other hatchback like the Maruti Suzuki Ignis. The Ignis is a model that is polarising in appearance and is funky and new. The Ignis is currently only offered with a petrol engine and no longer comes with a diesel engine. It is notable for being the most reasonably priced vehicle offered under Maruti Suzuki’s exclusive Nexa network.
Know about the exterior
The Ignis has a blacked-out set of 15-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, a traditional antenna, an integrated spoiler with a high-mounted stop sign, and two-piece tail lights. Its exterior also has a grille with four U-shaped chrome inserts, projector headlights with LED DRLs, contrast-colored skid plates, and a conventional antenna.
Maruti Suzuki Ignis: Know about the interior
The Ignis’ interior features a dual-tone theme, a seven-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system, an engine start/stop button, controls mounted to the steering wheel, automated climate control, auto-folding ORVMs, and 60:40 split back seats. Features like ESP and hill hold aid, which are now standard across the range, are included in the MY23 edition.
Here comes the newly modified engine
The 1.2-liter, four-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine that powers the Maruti Suzuki Ignis continues to produce 82 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. The engine is coupled with both an AMT and a five-speed manual gearbox. The RDE and BS6 Phase 2 emission standards are presently being met by this engine.
