Maserati MC20: In the year 2020, Maserati, an Italian luxury car manufacturer, will introduce the MC20 supercar to the world. The MC20 is now officially available in the Indian market for a price of Rs 3.69 crore ex-showroom. Prior to the consumer selecting any options, this pricing is shown. The MC20 can be viewed as the MC12’s replacement. The MC20 is a brand-new vehicle, unlike the MC12, which was based on the Ferrari Enzo.
Engine and powertrain
The mid-mounted, 3.0-liter V6 powering the MC20 may initially appear to have a small displacement. Maserati, though, asserts that they are utilising patented F1 technology. Its engine has a power output of 630 horsepower and a maximum torque output of 730 Nm. An 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that solely sends power to the rear wheels is coupled to the engine. This engine is known by Maserati as the “Nettuno.” With this engine, there are four different driving modes available.
Maserati MC20: Braking and top speed
The Maserati MC20 is a formidable opponent in terms of top speed and stopping power. It has a top speed of nearly 325 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds. The Maserati MC20 supercar is unique in that it can stop in less than 33 metres while travelling at a speed of zero.
Maserati MC20: Light weight
The MC20’s weight has been decreased by Maserati through the extensive usage of carbon fibre. The vehicle is under 1.5 tonnes in weight, with 59% of its weight in the back and 41% in the front. The MC20’s monocoque chassis is lightweight, weighing only 100 kg.
Looks and design
The Maserati MC20’s appearance is fairly streamlined and understated. It borrows some of its components from MC12. The MC20 appears pretty appealing and stylish in a period when manufacturers adorn their vehicles with enormous wings and splitters. This does not imply that the MC12 has not made use of active aerodynamics. The air vents have been strategically positioned by Maserati to maximise ventilation.
