MG Comet EV vs Tata Tiago EV: Two of the best Likely to Shake up the Electric Vehicle Segment Compared, Check out Before Buying

MG Comet EV vs Tata Tiago EV: The MG Comet EV (MG Comet EV) has made its public debut in India. With an initial price of Rs 7.98 lakh, ex-showroom, the MG Comet EV has surpassed all other electric vehicles on the market as the least expensive model. Following the ZS EV, this is MG Motor India’s second entirely electric vehicle. This vehicle has four seats and two doors. The Comet EV is a choice to satisfy the urban transportation needs of small families, whilst the ZS EV is a premium SUV.

Know which will compete

Tata Tiago and MG Comet EV may not directly compete with one another, but their nearly identical costs will cause them to do so. The Tata Tiago EV, up to this point the most reasonably priced electric vehicle on the market, will face competition from the Comet EV. There are several differences between the two automobiles in terms of battery, range, body type, and size. But the price at which they are offered will appeal to purchasers in both cases.

MG Comet EV vs Tata Tiago EV: Prices

Beginning with the Tiago EV XE MR (Tiago EV XE MR), the Tiago EV is available in seven trim levels, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 8.69 lakh. The ex-showroom cost of the Tiago EV Tech Lux LR (Tiago EV Tech Lux LR) with a 7.2 kW charger increases to Rs 11.99 lakh at the same time. Another Tiago EV XZ+ LR model with a 7.2 kW charger is available; it costs Rs 11.49 lakh, ex-showroom.The MG Comet EV is available for Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom). There is only one variety of it. The car’s extras and graphics, though, come at an additional fee.

Know about the battery and range

The Tiago EV is more expensive than the Comet EV but claims to have a range of about 300 km on a single charge and a larger battery. The Comet EV is positioned as a daily urban commuting choice despite being a little car with a length of less than three metres. The Comet EV, according to MG, can travel up to 230 kilometres on a single full charge.
