Mini Cooper Charged Edition EV Car: Mini India has revealed the Cooper SE Charged Edition, a 20-unit limited-edition model of the all-electric Mini 3-door Cooper SE. The Mini Cooper SE Charged Edition is priced at Rs. 55 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition of the completely electric Cooper SE has visual differences from the ordinary model.
Know about the battery and range
The Mini Charged Edition, like the SE, is powered by a 32.6 kWh battery and a single electric motor. It produces 181bhp and 270Nm of torque. Mini claims a 0-100kmph sprint time of 7.3 seconds and a range of up to 270km. The Cooper SE EV covered 225.7km in our real-world range test.
This is an exclusive variant
The Mini Charged Edition is India’s first limited edition of the three-door Cooper SE. It will be brought into our country via the CBU channel. There may be plans to add more, but for the time being, only 20 pieces of this limited-edition version will be available. It demonstrates how unusual and exclusive this version will be, given that the Mini caters to a tiny section of purchasers in this country.
Equipped with all the features
The Cooper SE is the basis for the Charged Edition, which retains all of its equipment. As a result, this model, too, features unique elements and sports seats with leatherette carbon black upholstery. Then there’s a Nappa leather multifunction steering wheel, a five-inch MID, and an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Customers can also take advantage of the Mini wired package, which features navigation, wireless charging, Bluetooth, and Apple CarPlay compatibility.
Mini Cooper Charged Edition EV Car: Unique colour
In contrast to the white and bright EVs, the Charged version has a Chilli Red bodywork. A multi-tone white roof adds contrasting white details. The headlamp surrounds, ORVMs, door handles, and logos are painted Aspen White. Furthermore, the EV has Frozen Red sports stripes on the bonnet, sides, and boot, with Energetic Yellow highlights. Finally, the 17-inch alloys feature the same ‘Mini Electric Power Spoke’ layout.
