Nissan 7-seater MPV: Renault and Nissan are revising their collaboration and will concentrate on the Indian market. Some of the partnership’s key highlights include the new vehicles that both brands will launch in India. Nissan has announced the launch of a vehicle based on the Renault Triber, the most affordable 7-seater MPV in the Indian market. As a result, it is likely that Nissan will introduce a new 7-seater vehicle in India in the coming years.

Renault and Nissan are developing A-segment electric vehicle

Renault and Nissan are also interested in developing A-segment electric vehicles for the Indian market. This is expected to be the Kwid’s electric version. Renault already sells the Kwid E-Tech on a global scale.

Renault’s current lineup includes the Kwid, Triber, and Kiger. The Kiger has been a success for the company, selling well in the compact SUV segment, which is one of the most competitive in the Indian market. The Kiger shares its underpinnings with the Triber, whereas the Kwid is Renault’s most affordable vehicle.

Nissan’s portfolios

Nissan currently only has the Kicks and the Magnite in their lineup. The Renault Triber’s underpinnings are shared by the Magnite. As a result, the platform, engine, and transmission are the same in both vehicles. Nissan has confirmed that the X-Trail SUV will be introduced in the Indian market. They are also considering the Qashqai and the Juke. As a result, it is unclear whether these two SUVs will be sold in India.
