Ola electric scooter: Following the success of its S1 scooter range, Ola Electric has grown to become the largest manufacturer of electric two-wheelers. Every month, the company sells over 20,000 electric scooters. The Ola S1 Air is the company’s most recent e-scooter, with deliveries set to begin in April 2023. However, the company plans to launch some new products later this month.

Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal hinted at some new updates for this scooter in a recent tweet. In this tweet, he states that it will be revealed on February 9, 2023 at 2 p.m.

According to reports, the company may introduce a new variant of the S1 Air electric scooter. According to some reports, the new scooter could be even cheaper than the S1 Air, which will compete in the market with 100-110 cc petrol scooters.

About the launch

Let us inform you that Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola Electric, is focusing on making electric vehicles, particularly electric two-wheelers, more affordable in India. He has stated numerous times in his statement that he intends to bring affordable electric scooters to the Indian domestic market. As of now, information about the February 9 launch is scarce, and speculation about the new electric scooter’s arrival is rampant.

Battery and range

The Ola S1 Air is powered by a 2.5 kWh lithium-ion battery. On a full charge, it has a range of 101 kilometres. It has a top speed of 90 km/h. It takes 4.30 hours to fully charge its battery. The S1 Air is equipped with dual telescopic forks up front and monoshock suspension in the back. The scooter has a front disc brake for safety.

Let us tell you that the Ola S1 Air is the company’s most affordable electric scooter, priced at Rs 84,999. (ex-showroom). At this price, the scooter is Rs 4,000 more expensive than the Activa 6G H-Smart but Rs 14,000 less expensive than the TVS iQube. It has a lot of premium features that make it a good value for money product on the market.
