Redmi 11 Prime 5G: The Redmi 11 Prime 5G and Redmi 11 Prime 4G, the most recent affordable models from Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi, were introduced on Tuesday in India. A Poco M4 5G that made its debut in the country in April of this year under a different brand appears to be the 5G phone. The Redmi 11 Prime 5G boasts a waterdrop-shaped display notch and two rear cameras, one of which is a 50-megapixel main sensor.
In contrast, the Redmi 11 Prime 4G’s triple back camera system makes use of the same primary sensor. Display refresh rates on the most recent smartphones can reach 90Hz. The Redmi 11 Prime 5G is powered by the octa-core 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, while the 4G variant is driven by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi 11 Prime 5G runs Android 12 and has a 6.58-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) IPS display, up to 90Hz refresh rate, and a 20.7:9 aspect ratio. The screen’s maximum brightness is 400 nits, and 70% of the NTSC colour gamut is represented on it. A Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen additionally protects the display. The new Redmi smartphone is powered by an octa-core 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, a Mali-G57 GPU, and up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
A 50-megapixel main sensor and an f/1.8 lens, as well as a 2-megapixel portrait sensor and an f/2.4 lens, are both features of the Redmi Prime 5G’s dual rear camera system. The phone also has a dust- and water-resistant design and an IP52 rating. The phone also features a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Additionally, it supports the face unlock function. The Xiaomi 11 Prime 5G has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The provided charger, however, is only able to handle 22.5W of power. The phone measures 164.0 x 76.1 x 8.9mm and weighs 200 grammes.
