Tata Altroz iCNG: Tata Motors will introduce the Altroz ICNG in India soon. The corporation is ready to bring it first after introducing it at Auto Expo 2023 with a bang. After the Tiago and the Tigor, the Altroz will be Tata Motors’ third CNG vehicle.In CNG mode, the Tata Altroz’s 1.2-liter, three-cylinder petrol engine produces 77 horsepower and 97 pound-feet of torque while producing 86 horsepower and 113 pound-feet of torque in petrol mode.

Tata Altroz iCNG: Know about the speed

It can be equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. Since no model has it yet, the Altroz can be started immediately in CNG mode. In Tiago and Tigor CNG, this engine delivers a mileage of 26.49 kilometres per litre.In this situation, Altroz CNG can also deliver comparable mpg. Its exterior won’t undergo any significant changes, but a ‘ICNG’ insignia will be added to the tailboard. On its boot, a new dual-cylinder layout will be provided.

Tata Altroz iCNG: With comfortable digital system

Similar to the current Tiago and Tigor CNG, the Altroz is available in three variants: XM, XZ, and top model XZ+. It will have an infotainment system with a 7.0-inch touchscreen, a digital driver’s display, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.In addition, a sunroof that opens and closes by voice command, a start/stop button for the engine, automatic climate control, 16-inch alloy wheels, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, leather seats, rear AC vents, and a front centre armrest are all available.

With great control and leak detection feature

Six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child anchors, corner stability control and a leak detection feature to stop gas leaks from the twin CNG cylinders are all included in the Tata Altroz ICNG’s safety features.

Tata Altroz iCNG: Price in India

Cost-wise, the Tata Altroz ICNG could be Rs 90,000 more expensive than the petrol model. It currently has a beginning price of Rs. 6.45 lakhs and a maximum version price of Rs. 9.10 lakhs.

Here are the competitors

The company’s third model, the Tata Altroz ICNG, will fight in the Indian market against the Maruti Baleno and Toyota Glanza CNG models. It must now be determined how much its price is maintained.
