Know about the differences
The 2.0-liter diesel engine underpining the Safari facelift is modified to generate 350Nm of torque and 168bhp, making it compatible with BS6 Phase 2. The six-speed torque converter and six-speed manual gearbox that come with this powerplant provide power to the front wheels. The 1.5-liter petrol engine in the MG Hector, on the other hand, generates 141 horsepower and 250 Nm and is mated to a six-speed manual, CVT, or DCT. The 2.0-liter, four-cylinder diesel variant, on the other hand, only comes with a six-speed manual gearbox and produces 169 horsepower and 350 Nm.
