Toyota Car Price Hike: From Urban Cruiser Hyryder to new gen Innova Highcross, these vehicles to cost more

Toyota Car Price Hike: All of Toyota Motor’s models that are part of the portfolio have seen price increases this month. The automaker raised pricing for its flagship SUV, the Urban Cruiser HyRyder, for a second time in less than six weeks after doing so in February of this year. Depending on the versions, the most recent price increase for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder increased the price by up to Rs 60,000. For the second time since March, the cost of Toyota’s new generation MPV Innova HyCross has also gone up.

The prices of newly launched vehicles

The Urban Cruiser HyRyder and the Innova HyCross were both introduced by Toyota Motor last year. The HyRyder is the automaker’s first small SUV to reach the Indian market. While the Innova Crysta HyCross is an upgraded model of the Innova Crysta that is available with the Strong Hybrid variant.

Toyota Car Price Hike: Know about the new prices

The HyRyder has increased by Rs 60,000 following the most recent price increase for the base Strong Hybrid version S e-CVT. The price of the SUV’s other two powerful hybrid models will increase by Rs 25,000. Four of the entry-level SUV models, including the mild hybrid, have suffered a 20,000 rupee price increase. Most other variations have received a negligible 2,000 Rs price increase. The HyRyder SUV’s ex-showroom costs will now range from Rs. 10.73 lakh to Rs. 19.74 lakh.

Here are the other cars

The Toyota Innova HyCross MPV’s pricing has also increased significantly. All three-row VX and ZX models now cost more thanks to the automaker. It will now cost Rs 27,000 extra for these variations. The mid-trim Innova Highcross model’s starting price is Rs 25.03 lakh, while the top price is Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom). Toyota’s counterpart of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno is the Glanza hatchback. Now, the majority of its variations will cost at least Rs 5,000 extra. All other hatchback variations, including the CNG, have seen price increases with the exception of the top-tier V AMT model. Prices for Glanza now range from Rs 6.71 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). Previously, the Camry hybrid sedan could be purchased for Rs. 45.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Its price has risen by Rs 46,000 as a result of the price increase. The sedan’s current price, ex-showroom, is Rs. 45.71 lakh.
