The company is coming with a CNG variant

The SUV’s front and back windscreens are decals that read “CNG.” Its boot contains a deep-seated CNG reservoir that is covered in fabric and has a panel above it where light objects can be stacked. The Hyryder CNG’s storage area will come in handy for stowing a couple of medium-sized suitcases, unlike hatchbacks with the alternative fuel option, which don’t have much available boot space.

As indicated by the badge on the bootlid, the model shown was the entry-level S trim in the Hyryder CNG line. The price difference between it and the SUV’s petrol-only S trim is Rs 95,000.

Equipped with advanced features

Cruise control, a touchscreen (seven inches in S and nine inches in G trims), automatic air conditioning with rear vents, a height-adjustable driver seat, and a PM2.5 filter are all standard equipment on the CNG trims of the compact SUV. Toyota has added safety features like dual front airbags (six total in the G), a reversing camera, vehicle stability control (VSC), and ISOFIX child-seat anchorages to the CNG versions of the car.
