Toyota Innova Crysta: Most people believed that the Innova Crysta had become extinct after the advent of the Innova Hycross. In the end, we were mistaken. Toyota produced an Uno reverse card instead of an ace from its sleeve. Both the Innova Crysta and its 2.4L 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine have emerged from hibernation.
Relaunch of Toyota Innova Crysta
This engine’s alleged failure to meet the type emission criteria presented during launch was also thought to be a legitimate concern. Toyota has ended this rumour by relaunching the Innova Crysta as promised. For the base G model, the Innova Crysta is priced at Rs. 19.13. It’s surprising that the pricing hasn’t changed since it was cancelled last year.
Variant wise price
Prices for the Toyota Innova Crysta have been made public by licenced dealers. Pricing for the two entry-level G and GX models have been made public, but those for the VX and top-tier ZX variants have not yet been disclosed.
The base version of the 2023 Innova Crysta G starts with Rs 19.13 lakh, while the GX model costs Rs 19.99 lakh, ex-sh. These are the costs for the 7-seater option; an 8-seater vehicle is available for Rs 5,000 extra. View the thorough walkaround video, courtesy to Avi008 below.
Toyota Innova Crysta: Engine and powertrain
The 2.7L gasoline engine has been replaced with a single 2.4L turbo-diesel 4-cylinder engine paired with a single 5-speed transmission. Missed opportunity for the 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Its engine generates 360 Nm of torque and 148 horsepower of power. The most sought-after Toyota powertrain is this one, which has been tried and tested. Since the day it was announced, reservations for the same have been available online.

White Pearl Crystal Shine, Superwhite, Silver, Attitude Black, and Avant-Garde Bronze are the five colours that Innova Crysta is available in. It will be fascinating to observe how Innova HyCross performs in comparison to Innova Crysta.
