Toyota Kirloskar SUV: The Japanese carmaker Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced that its Bidadi manufacturing facility would begin operating on three shifts starting of this month. To fulfil the rising demand for the company’s recently announced products, the third shift has begun.
Increasing 30% production
According to Toyota, the start of the 30th shift would result in a more than 30% increase in plant production, enabling the business to fulfil the rising demand for its complete portfolio in the nation. Additionally, the business will add 25% more jobs as a result of this news, including expanded hiring from the Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI). This is a centre for technical skill education that the corporation has at its Bidadi plant.

More than 1.2 lakhs units has been booked
Toyota currently has a backlog of orders of more than 1,20,000 units, which is the greatest since the country’s automobile industry began. The waiting period for the freshly released Innova Highcross MPV is 24 to 30 months. The mid-size SUV, which will debut in the middle of 2022, will likewise have a waiting period of up to 20 months. Both of these cars are offered with petrol and petrol combined with powerful hybrid powertrains.
