TVS Electric One Make Championship

TVS Electric One Make Championship: The whole world is moving towards the electric vehicles due to the increasing of global warming and other harmful effects that is produced by the petrol and diesel. In order to promote electric two-wheelers, the firm has created a brand-new racing division named TVS Racing Electric One Make Championship (e-OMC). The fourth round of the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC) on September 29, 2023, will mark the debut of the TVS Electric One Make Championship. TVS Racing has carefully chosen the eight riders who will race on the Apache RTE electric race cars that were especially made for this competition.

Sudarshan Venu, Managing Director, TVS Motor Company said, “TVS Motor has been championing racing ever since we started India’s first factory racing team. TVS Racing has been instrumental in making motorsports aspirational yet accessible for enthusiasts across the country. Many of the technologies that we pioneered in our racing machines have made way to our production vehicles, giving shape to our ‘track to road’ philosophy.”

What we know so far about this TVS Electric One Make Championship?

The stressed part of the chassis is the battery case, which is built of carbon fibre. A liquid-cooling system is also attached to the motor controller and propelling motor to control temperature while the bike is being put through its paces in competition. Ohlins is responsible for both the front and the rear suspension. A 320 mm front disc and an additional disc in the back are responsible for braking the vehicle. Brembo is the provider for the master cylinder and the callipers.
