2 Police officers were arrested over Jayaraj-Fenix case .

The CBI ( Central Bureau of Investigation ) took over the custodial death of father and son in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday . They also arrested two policemen, Balakrishnan and Raghuganesh on murder charges .

Inspector Sridhar, head constable Murugan and sub inspector Balakrishnan have been arrested. With this total arrests in case has risen to four .

” All the four were remanded to judicial custody and Will be kept in jail in the district ” Police official Said .

The charges are under the section 302 of Indian Penal Code . Raghuganesh is the primary accused of the brutal murder of Jayaraj-Fenix .

The 12 special team’s of the CBI are strictly following the case to serve justice.

The incident happened on June 19 . When father, son of age 59 and 31 respectively , were picked up by santhankulam police for violating lockdown guidelines.

The eyewitness said , they were stripped naked , their knees were smashed and their chest hair was ripped out . Cops inserted rod in their rectum leaving them bleeding . Their lungis changed seven times in every 5 Hour . Lastly they died on 23 June .

Later the allegations of police brutality was confirmed after postmortem report.

Female head constable , the eye witness asked for the witness protection .
