As we’ve already said, the Vulcan S is a neo-retro ship, and its mechanics reflect that. It is driven by a 649cc parallel-twin engine, which is also in the Z650 and Versys 650. But Kawasaki has changed the way the engine works, so it now has 59.94bhp at 7,500rpm and 62.4Nm at 6,600rpm. A 6-speed transmission is connected to it.
The Super Meteor 650, on the other hand, is powered by a 648cc parallel-twin engine capable of producing 46.3bhp at 7,250rpm and 52.3Nm of torque at 5,650rpm. It is joined to a gearbox with six speeds. We have put the Super Meteor 650 through a lot of tests, and we recently rode it 1000 km in one day. We can say with confidence that the bike is easy to cruise on and has great low- and mid-range handling.

The Kawasaki Vulcan S has an LED headlight, dual-channel ABS for safety, and a semi-digital collection of instruments. But it doesn’t have smartphone access or navigation as the Super Meteor 650 does.
The Royal Enfield Super Meteor, on the other hand, has an LED headlight, a semi-digital collection of instruments, and the Tripper Navigation pod. A USB charging port, an LED taillight, and dual-channel ABS are some of the other features.
Price of 2023 Kawasaki Vulcan S vs Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650
The price of the 2023 Vulcan S is Rs. 6,40,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). This is mostly because it was imported CKD, which means it had to pay higher taxes. The Rs. 3,78,900 Super Meteor 650, on the other hand, is a great deal. (ex-showroom Delhi). You also get a long list of accessories that you can use to make the machine fit your tastes.

Lastly, the 2023 Vulcan S only comes in one version, which is painted glossy matte carbon grey. On the other hand, the Super Meteor 650 comes in three different trims and seven different colours.
