2023 Kia Seltos: The updated version of the Seltos is likely to come out on the Indian market by the middle of this year or in the third quarter. Even though the release date hasn’t been confirmed, the 2023 Kia Seltos will have changes inside and out. It will be the first major update for the midsize SUV since it came out in 2019. Last year, Kia showed off the updated Seltos in Busan, South Korea. The model that will go to India will have similar changes. The front fascia has a new grille section, headlamps, and LED Daytime Running Lights. Other changes to the outside include new alloy wheels, new LED tail lamps connected by an LED light bar, a new rear bumper and tailgate, and so on.
Updated list of features that includes a panoramic sunroof
The cabin will have a new 10.25-inch digital instrument console, a rotary dial instead of the usual gear lever in the AT models, and an updated list of features that includes a panoramic sunroof, smart cruise control, highway driving assistance, a 360-degree camera system, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), six airbags, VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), and so on.

The 2023 Kia Seltos will probably be the first Kia in India to have ADAS-based driver assistance and safety features like forward collision warning, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking. In terms of performance, there will be a new 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with 160 hp and 253 Nm of peak torque.
It could be paired with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission
It will replace the 1.4-litre turbocharged gasoline engine in the current model, which makes 140 hp and 242 Nm. It could be paired with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre NA gasoline engine and 1.5-litre diesel engine that are already available will keep making 115 hp/144 Nm and 115 hp/250 Nm, respectively.

The same combinations of gearboxes will also stay in place. The Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and other cars will compete with the 2023 Kia Seltos.
