Powertrain details
The Nexon facelift will keep the 120 horsepower, 170 nm, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which is now available with four transmissions: a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT, and a 7-speed automatic. The 115-hp, 160-Nm 1.5-litre diesel engine, on the other hand, is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT gearbox.
The Brezza comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 103PS and 137Nm. If you select the CNG variant, this engine produces 87.8PS and 121.5Nm when operating in CNG mode. The standard transmissions for the petrol-only model are a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The Brezza’s claimed fuel efficiency is 20.15 kmpl for manual and automatic variants, and 19.8 kmpl for the latter. However, the CNG model claims to deliver 25.51km/kg.
Features
The Nexon’s interior has been completely redesigned, with a three-color dashboard layout. The upper layer has a dark tone. The grey colour is seen in the other section. The dashboard’s lower section is comprised of soft-touch material with an indigo finish. The Curve’s two-spoke steering wheel has been carried over to the production-spec Nexon, making the updated vehicle more distinct.
The entirely digital instrument cluster in front of the steering wheel now features a display screen, and the infotainment system has been increased to 10.25 inches in size. The air conditioning panel is touch-based, and the centre console houses a wireless charging pad. Among other advanced amenities, it has ventilated seat driving and adjustable passenger seats.
A four-speaker sound system, a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard on the Brezza. A single-pane sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless phone charging, a heads-up display, and a 360-degree camera (AT models) are also standard.
Price in India
The Tata Nexon Facelift is expected to start at Rs 8 Lakh, whereas the Brezza’s pricing begins at Rs. 8.18 Lakh. Brezza has 15 variations and 10 colour options.
