2023 Toyota Rumion: Toyota has unveiled the updated version of the Rumion in South Africa. The 2023 model boasts several cosmetic changes compared to the original. The most noticeable change is the larger mesh grille, replacing the previous chrome radiator grille. The front bumper has also been redesigned to give the Rumion a sportier appearance. The alloy wheels have been refreshed as well. The interior of the MPV remains unchanged, featuring the same dashboard design and seating arrangement as the Ertiga. However, the Rumion has a flat-bottom steering wheel, a twin-dial instrument cluster, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre, distinguishing it from the Ertiga. 2023 Toyota Rumion powertrain details
The Rumion in South Africa comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 103 BHP and 138 Nm of torque. You can choose between a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission to pair with the engine. It is expected that the Indian version will have the same powertrain.
