2024 BMW R 1300 GS powertrain details
This bike sports a brand-new 1,300 cc Boxer Twin engine that produces a peak torque of 149 NM and 145 horsepower at 7,750 and 6,500 rpm, respectively. Which is the strongest engine offered thus far in the series. Consequently, power and torque both rise by 11 hp and 6 NM. The 6-speed gearbox is positioned below the engine to maximise packaging space.
Features onboard
This bike has a 6.5-inch full-color TFT screen, heated seats for the driver and passenger, an additional 12V onboard power outlet, and a compartment for charging smartphones with an integrated USB port. There are amenities like heated grips, matrix LED headlights, and BMW Motorrad Full Integral ABS Pro.
Four riding modes—Rain, Road, Eco, and Enduro—are included as standard equipment with the bike. In addition, a riding assistant with active cruise control, front collision warning, and lane change warning are featured.

The Honda Africa Twin, Triumph Tiger 1200, and Ducati Multistrada V4 are just a few competitors the BMW R 1300 GS faces in the fiercely competitive adventure tourer market.
