A 10.25-inch all-digital driver’s console has replaced the analogue instrument cluster, which Mahindra ultimately decided to discard. Mahindra has expanded its offering with the XUV400, introducing the Adrenox connected system with over 50 features.
Features onboard
Many new features, including a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone air conditioning, a Type-C USB charger for the backseat passengers, and newly installed rear air conditioning vents, have been added to the XUV400’s cabin. On the other hand, features like the sunroof, push-button start/stop, driver’s seat height adjustment and wireless phone charging have been retained.
There has been no tampering with Mahindra’s electric SUV safety equipment. It still has a reversing camera, an electronic stability programme (ESP), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and up to six airbags.
Powertrain details
Mahindra has not made any modifications to the XUV400‘s electric drivetrain. There are still two battery pack options for the EV: 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh, which have stated ranges of 375 km and 456 km, respectively. The 150 PS/310 Nm electric motor is the same for both battery packs. Nevertheless, the EC Pro model only receives the base pack, whereas the EL Pro variant has the choice of both battery packs.
