2024 Volkswagen Tiguan: The upcoming new generation Volkswagen Tiguan has been spotted without camouflage during a commercial shoot in Europe. As seen in the previous spy shots taken of the test mule, the 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan has an updated design that seems sleeker and smoother.
2024 Volkswagen Tiguan design details
The upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan seems to have sleeker headlamps upfront and an LED light bar. The side profile is noticeably different from the present model’s more squared-off form, and the shoulder line is likewise softer.
The new Tiguan is a bit longer than the outgoing model. The 2024 model is 4,551mm in length which is 32mm more than the current model. It is not only longer but also 5mm taller but has the same wheelbase.
Features onboard
As seen earlier, The 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan will feature many modern amenities, such as ventilated seats, and might also include massaging seats. A 15-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a luxurious feel. A few features will be kept only in the higher variants.
Expected powertrain details
The 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan is expected to enter the market with multiple powertrain options. These options will be
- 1.5L mild hybrid TSI engine
- 2L TDI Diesel engine
- 2L TSI Petrol engine
- Two plug-in hybrid options
The Two plug-in options will have different power outputs and an all-electric range 0f 80-100kms. An 18.5 kWh is expected to be added to the car. The SUV is expected to offer both all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive.
Launch in India
As of right now, there is no confirmation from the company that the third-generation Tiguan will be launched here in India. We will update you as soon as we get any information in this regard.
