Bajaj and Triumph started their partnership a few years back. Now, their first product as partners is out for testing, signaling that the Indo-British partners are swinging in faster than expected.
The new MCN spyshots were clicked overseas some time back and the viral photos indicate that the motorcycle will feature a single-cylinder engine.
While single-cylinder has many benefits, to keep up with the cost is one headache. The official displacement figures aren’t confirmed at the moment, it is expected that the model would be displaced around 350-500cc. This would put it to direct territory of models offered by Royal Enfield. It is also reported that there might be two trims on offer – one with 17-inch wheels and a scrambler-styled model with 19/17-inch wheels.
As far as the design is considered, the bike isn’t exactly a cruiser, but would give a feel of neo-retro level. There is a front circular headlamp that reminds of the Street Twin, bits such as upswept dual-barrel exhaust, alloys, and a narrow tail end come together to give it a modern touch.
The bike may see its launch sometime in early 2023. The final pricing placement of this model, which is expected to be somewhere in the range of ₹2.5 to 3 lakh.
