‘Ab tak to 5 humne maare hain’: Rajasthan BJP leader
Seeing himself in trouble, Gyandev Ahuja has clarified his controversial statement. In his clarification, he has said that he is not communal. He is not even against Muslims. Whatever statement he has given is against the criminals. Law is not in your hands.
BJP leader and former MLA Gyandev Ahuja, who has been in controversies many times due to his statements, was again embroiled in a controversy on Saturday over one of his statements on ‘lynching’. The ruling Congress in the state targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party over Ahuja’s statement and said that it has exposed the “real” face of the party with bigotry. Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara shared a video of Ahuja and tweeted, “So far we have killed 5…we have given free rein to the workers…we will get bail…These words are the members of the Rajasthan BJP executive. And belong to former MLA Gyandev Ahuja.”
In the video, he can be heard saying, everyone is sitting in Govindgarh, the movement should be started, the movement should be started. On this, Ahuja interrupts and says, no, we have killed five so far… Whether it was killed in Lalvandi, killed in Behror… this has happened for the first time in this area. Otherwise, I have given a free hand to the activists to kill… whoever is found smuggling cow or cow smuggling. Will get acquitted, will also get bail. A roadmap has to be made to run the movement.”
After Ahuja’s video surfaced, the Congress attacked the BJP fiercely. The official Twitter handle of the state unit of Congress tweeted, “Listen to the confession of former BJP MLA Gyandev Ahuja .. “.
The Congress alleged that the conspirators of the violent incidents are openly provoking riots by disturbing the harmony and law and order in the state.
