AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi reacts to Varanasi court’s order in Gyanvapi case

The Varanasi District Court on Monday gave a major verdict while hearing the matter of regular darshan and worship at Gyanvapi Shringar Gauri. The court dismissed the appeal of the Muslim side and said that the matter is worth hearing. Responding to this decision of the district court, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that there should be an appeal in this matter.

Owaisi said that according to the order of the Supreme Court, there is a time of 8 weeks to appeal against the decision. He said that I believe that many things will start in the country with the order. This is against the Places of Worship Act of 1991 and litigation will also start on that. After this decision, this case will also move on the path of Babri Masjid case.

Owaisi, while reacting to the verdict of the Varanasi District Court in the Gyanvapi Masjid case, further said that with today’s order a lot of new things will start in the country. Now the cases of such litigation will increase and we will again go back to the 80s and 90s with regard to the situation before 15th August 1947 in the matter of religious structures. Owaisi said that its effect will increase the atmosphere of instability in the country.

Owaisi further said that now it seems that if such ligation goes ahead, then the situation will become like the case of Babri Masjid. Referring to Prime Minister Modi after this decision of the court, AIMIM chief Owaisi said that the plot numbers 93 and 94 were exchanged when PM Modi inaugurated the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor in Varanasi. Is the exchange done through the owner?

Owaisi hit back at a tweet by UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya after the district court’s decision in the Gyanvapi Masjid-Shringar Gauri complex to allow worship in the complex.

In fact, after the court’s decision, Keshav Prasad Maurya had made a tweet in which he wrote – “Karvat Leti Mathura, Kashi”. Apart from this, he tweeted two more, in one of these tweets he wrote, Baba Vishwanath ji, welcome the order of the honorable court in Maa Shringar Gauri Mandir case, everyone should respect the decision. At the same time, he wrote in his second tweet ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ .
