Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan is surrounded by controversies but this time Anti Corruption Bureau has acted on him. On Friday, the Anti Corruption Bureau first questioned to Amanatullah Khan. After that, they conducted raids in the evening and by night Amanatullah Khan was arrested in a 2 year old case. In which he is accused of committing corruption related to illegal appointments in the Delhi Waqf Board. The Aam Aadmi Party is standing with its 48-year-old MLA and calling all these crimes baseless. Okhla MLA Amanatullah was called for questioning by the police at 12 noon today. The case was registered against him under the Prevention of Corruption Act in 2020.
“Amanutullah Khan recruited 32 man illegally” – Anti-Corruption Bureau
While working as the chairman of Delhi Waqf Board, Amanutulla Khan illegally recruited approx 32 persons violating all the norms and Govt. guidelines and with all allegations of corruption. The then CEO of Delhi Waqf Board had clearly given statement against such illegal recruitment”, said in a press release from the anti-corruption bureau.

The ACB claimed that its search team was attacked by the relatives of Mr. Amanutullah Khan outside his residence. The ACB also claims that AAP leader “misappropriated the funds of Delhi Waqf Board”. ACB also seized 24 lakh cash and two illegal and unlicensed weapons. Amanutullah Khan is the latest of several AAP leaders who is being raided by central agencies. It has turned to a bitter war of words between the Centre and the AAP. He also posted on his Twitter account about the summon ACB sent him.
