Anurag Thakur targeted Ashok Gehlot for increasing atrocities against women in Rajasthan. Thakur said that Rajasthan has become number one state in crime against women. Instead of taking any action against the criminals, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot sacked one of his ministers, Rajendra Gudha, for raising his voice against the atrocities on women in the state, which is quite unfortunate.
The Union Minister said that I have only one question with Ashok Gehlot whether the law and order of Rajasthan is the responsibility of the CM or not? Will he resign after Rajendra Gudha’s statement or not. Is Ashok Gehlot ashamed of the incidents in Rajasthan or not? There is a question to the people of Kharge and Gandhi family whether they have forgotten the responsibility of Rajasthan. Will the Leader of the Opposition also send his delegation to Rajasthan, Bihar and Bengal?
Anurag Thakur said that a peaceful and safe state has become number one in terms of crimes against women in the last five years. One lakh nine thousand incidents of crime against women have happened in the last four years. 33 thousand rape incidents have happened in Rajasthan. 22 percent incidents of rape of women across the country are happening in Rajasthan. Thakur was asked by the media why he was not ready to discuss Manipur. In response to this question, Thakur said that the central government is fully prepared to discuss Manipur and rising crime against women in the House, but the opposition party itself is running away from these issues.
