Aprilia RS 457: Piaggio India has launched one of the most awaited Aprilia RS 457 in India. The all-new RS 457 made its India at India Bike Week 2023. The manufacturer has priced the new motorcycle at Rs. 4.10 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. Interested buyers will be able to purchase the new beast through Aprilia’s Motoplex dealerships. The brand has confirmed that the bookings for the bike will start from December 15 with the token amount of Rs. 10000 while deliveries will commence by March 2024. The newly launched Aprilia RS 457 rivals with KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 400 and the forthcoming Yamaha R3 in India.
Aprilia RS 457: Design
The all-new Aprilia RS 457 seems to be the down-tuned version of the RS 660 as the bike features a similar front fascia incorporating LED Daytime Running Lamps and sleeker headlamps. As a full-fledged bike, the bike gets a proper set of rear footpegs and clip-ons. Talking about the overall design, the bike features a premium look which can be a head-turner for the sports bike.
Aprilia RS 457: Features
The newly launched sports bike comes with LED lighting, ride-by-ride throttle, riding and traction controls (each has a 3-level setting). Other features of the bike include a 5-inch TFT screen which displays all the drive-related information to the driver.
Aprilia RS 457: Engine and Performance
Aprilia RS 457 comes equipped with a 457 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. The powerhouse generates a maximum power of 47 bhp and a peak torque of 46 Nm. The suspension duties of the bike are handled by USD forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear side. For safety, the bike gets disc brakes on both sides along with dual-channel ABS.
