Aprilia has recently introduced the RS 457 in India. The new bike is the most affordable motorbike in India. The all new Aprilia RS 457 is inspired by the RSV4 and RS 660. The bike comes with the same split LED headlights topped by a transparent visor. It gets small fin like vents on the sides for better improved aerodynamics.
RS 457 is a introduced as a supersport motorcycle by the brand, that’s why the bike comes with rear seat footpegs, low clip-ons. The company has offered the new bike comes in three color variants.
Aprilia RS 457: Powertrain
Aprilia RS 457 comes equipped with RS 457cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that comes coupled with six speed gearbox. The engine generates the maximum power output of 47 bhp. It also comes with optional quickshifter for clutchless upshifts. Talking about the rider aids, the bike comes with ride-by-wire, ride modes, switchable three level traction control and ABS. It also gets a five inch TFT display which supports smartphone connectivity.
Aprilia RS 457 features monoshock and an adjustable USD front forks. As far as the braking technology is concerned, the supersports bike comes with disc brakes at both sides with ABS.
The company has not revealed any price details of the new RS 457, but we expect that the bike will be price around Rs. 4 lakh (ex-showroom).
