Ather 450S: Since its release, the high-end Ather 450X scooter by Ather Energy has enjoyed strong sales. The government provides subsidies to encourage the use of electric vehicles. Due to this, purchasing an electric scooter is more affordable than purchasing a scooter that runs on fuel. In order to compete with the Honda Activa, Ather is getting ready to release the Ather 450S. According to the sources, it will be a cost-effective model that will draw more and more clients because of its low cost.

The report indicates that numerous functions won’t be included in the new scooter if the manufacturer intends to sell it for a reduced price. This will assist the business in keeping costs down. Additionally, lowering the battery and motor capacity of the new scooter compared to the present model will aid in maintaining affordability. The features that are included in the 450X Pro Pack variation might not be offered in the new scooter.
Expected price
The new scooter will probably cost less than Rs. 1.5 lakh. Ather receives a subsidy of Rs 55,500 from the Indian government under FAME II, compared to an Rs 18,300 state subsidy in Delhi.
If the Ather 450S costs Rs 1.5 lakh, the final price after subsidies will be about Rs 76,000. This cost is nearly equal to the Activa. Ather’s scooter will be competitive with Activa at this cost.
