Ather 450S: It has been reported for a while that Ather Energy is getting ready to introduce a low-cost electric scooter. The government recently stated that it would be cutting the FAME II subsidy for electric two-wheelers. As a result, the 450X electric scooter is now Rs 20,000 more expensive. Customers are finding it more challenging in this situation to purchase an electric scooter. Ather, though, seemed to be in the mood to relieve the clients. The inexpensive electric scooter, the 450S, will eventually be released, according to the Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer.
Ather 450S Powertrain details and Range
A 3 kWh battery pack is used to power the Ather 450S, and according to Indian driving conditions, it can travel 115 kilometres on a single charge. Ather claims that the 450S would have a top speed of 90 km/h, though the complete technical specifications of the scooter have not yet been made public.
Price in India
The forthcoming electric scooter’s price has been disclosed by Ather. According to the manufacturer, the 450S’ initial ex-showroom price would be Rs 1,29,999.
The new 450S reservations will begin in July. Ather’s website offers a registration form for potential customers to fill out.
