Ather Energy: Ather claims that the scooter will be delivered within the next six months, and the first teaser image shows it within an ultrasound. 2024’s ACDC 24-Ather Community Day Celebration will see the scooter’s debut. Read on to know more.
Ather Rizta confirmed
Regarding the Rizta, Tarun Mehta, co-founder and CEO of Ather Energy, stated:
“Well, we had our fun with ‘Diesel’. But we are definitely not naming our first family scooter Diesel (sorry, Fast and Furious fans)
Unlike our usual names which have been more of an engineering nomenclature, we are taking a different route this time.
Introducing ‘Ather Rizta’ – the one for your family!
With Rizta, we will be taking a big leap in comfort and safety. Our teams have been working on this for a while (this one has been on and off the table since 2019!) now and have pulled off some amazing integrations that are industry-first and will make your ride experience way better.
Rizta will also continue to maintain the same quality and reliability that Ather’s other products are known for.

Expected Specs
The new e-scooter is expected to have a larger seat, a more spacious floorboard, and a larger boot. The scooter’s performance can also be changed to provide gentler handling and a greater range. Compared to the existing 450 range, which starts at ₹1.30 lakh, it is expected to be less costly.
The revised 450 series scooter is anticipated to perform better, boasting greater acceleration and a top speed of up to 100 kph. The design might also include new features.
