Auto Expo 2023: Along with electrics and other alternative fuel vehicles, there were many flex-fuel motorcycles on show at the Auto Expo 2023. The following is a description of the ethanol-using products on display at the 2023 Auto Expo:

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V
In order to create a flex-fuel version of the well-known 160cc motorcycle, the Indian bike manufacturer shelved the RTR 200 E100 project. The same 17.55PS and 14.73Nm are still produced by this motorcycle, which runs on an E20-E85 blend.
Yamaha FZ-FI
At the Expo, Yamaha displayed their FZ-FI built for Brazil. It is known as the Fazer FZ-15 in the South American market and can run on 100% ethanol or even an E20 blend. If there have been any changes to the performance, read this story.
Bajaj Pulsar N160
The Indian brand also displayed its Pulsar N160 flex-fuel vehicle. The performance is different from its petroleum version, though. The flex-fuel Pulsar is described in great length in this article.
Hero Glamour XTec
Hero’s top Glamour trim also receives the flex-fuel treatment. But the commuter has put on weight in its quest for cleaner fuel. This one uses an ethanol combination of E20 and E85.
In accordance with the National Policy on Biofuels, India intends to blend 20% ethanol into petrol for automobiles by 2025. Therefore, we anticipate seeing more of these flex-fuel bikes in the years to come.
