Auto Expo 2023: Liger Mobility will reveal the world’s first electric scooter that can stand up on its own at Auto Expo 2023. The domestic electric mobility firm asserts that its next electric scooter can self-balance without the use of a side or centre stand. This makes the e-scooter unique in the growing market for electric two-wheelers in India and around the world. At the event, the name of the scooter will be given out.
Mumbai-based Liger Mobility has already hinted that it will release an electric scooter in 2019 that can balance itself and park itself. But that was just a pre-production model. The model that will be shown at the Auto Expo 2023 is ready to go into production.

The retro look of the Liger self-balancing electric scooter is equipped with new features
At first glance, it looks like it was made with the classic Vespa in mind. But you can still see the unique design elements. The scooter has a delta-shaped LED headlight on the front apron and a sleek horizontal LED daytime running light (DRL) on top. The roundish LED turn signals are also in the front cover.
The Liger self-balancing electric scooter also has a wide and comfortable seat, an all-digital instrument cluster, a grab rail at the back, an LED taillight, telescopic suspension at the front, etc. Even though we don’t know what colours this e-scooter will come in, we do know that one of them will be Matte Red. It moves on wheels made of aluminium and wrapped with thick rubber. The front wheel has a disc brake for stopping, while the back wheel has a drum brake.

The company that makes this electric scooter says that it has revolutionary technology that was made in India. It is said that this technology will make electric scooter riders much safer and give them more comfort and ease of use than with any other traditional scooter.
