In a vehicle following the bus, BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul joined the party’s supporters to block Diamond Harbour Road, creating a major traffic jam.
Suvendu Adhikari, the leader of the opposition, tweeted about the incident and said that the West Bengal government had done everything in its ability to prevent this rally. The Hon’ble High Court was then approached, and it gave permission for the Rally to take place. Additionally, TMC members blocked the roads leading to the rally’s location, preventing BJP supporters from getting there. The BJP karyakartas’ unwavering zeal and tenacity did not waver in the face of many obstacles.

Further, he said that the violence that occurred is not appropriate in a democratic nation like ours. Due to the state’s culture of bringing fabricated cases, many of our Karyakartas have been arrested.

According to BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul, TMC workers attacked BJP supporters in an effort to disrupt the gathering. She added that BJP members who were peacefully demonstrating were also severely attacked.
Later, in the day, Suvendu Adhikari addressed a mega rally in the Diamond Harbour , the Lok Sabha constituency of TMC’s Abhishek Banerjee, in what appeared to be a show of strength ahead of the Panchayat elections.
