Battery and Motor

A 1.9kW Bosch BLDC electric motor with a top speed of 50kmph powers the electric scooter. A 60V lead acid battery, LI Technology, and a bigger 1.45kW lithium-ion battery pack are the three battery alternatives available. The LI Technology and lithium-ion battery pack can be fully charged in 4 hours and gives a range of 70 km, whereas the lead-acid battery takes about 7 to 8 hours to fully charge and has a range of 78 km. It is highly practical because the lithium-ion battery pack is also detachable.

The BGauss B8 LI technology variant is packed with cutting-edge features including IoT-enabled (Internet Of Things) navigation assist, ride metrics, remote diagnostics, battery’s state of health and its charging status, live tracking, geo-fencing, and full charge alert. The anti-theft alarm, anti-theft motor locking, centralised seat lock, USB charging, reverse assist, and side-stand sensor are additional noteworthy features in the base lead-acid and mid-spec lithium-Ion battery variants. Three riding modes are also available on the scooters: low, mid, and high.

The cost of the BGauss B8 ranges from Rs. 89,699 to Rs. 89,991.
