BJP MLA Arvind Giri Dies Of Heart Attack

BJP MLA Arvind Giri from Gokaran Nath assembly seat in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh has died of a heart attack in Sitapur. MLA Giri died when he was being taken to Lucknow for treatment.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep grief over the death of MLA Arvind Giri. All the BJP leaders of the state have also expressed deep grief over the death of MLA Giri.

According to family members, he got ready at 5 in the morning and left for Lucknow from his house, on the way he suffered a heart attack in the car near Atria. Colleagues accompanying him took him to a private hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

HIMS Sitapur Principal DR UB Mishra said, MLA Arvind Giri was brought to the emergency at around 7.21 am. When his checkup was done, it was found that he had died. He died before he could be brought here.

Chief Minister Yogi, Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya and BJP State President Bhupendra Chaudhary have condoled his death. Arvind Giri has been a five-time MLA from the Gola Vidhan Sabha. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana and ministers condoled the sudden demise of the MLA.

Aditya Nath said, “The demise of BJP MLA Arvind Giri from Gola assembly constituency of Lakhimpur Kheri district is extremely sad. My condolences are with the bereaved families. May Lord Shri Ram grant the departed soul a place at his feet and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this unfathomable loss.”

Family sources said that Giri (65), a resident of Tirath area of ​​Gola Gokarnath, is survived by his wife Sudha Giri, two sons and two daughters. According to party leaders, Giri was on his way to Lucknow in his car and felt uneasy and was taken to a hospital in Sidhauli, where he died.
