Campa Cola: The richest man in Asia and chairman of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani, is constantly growing his company. He had agreed to a contract last year to enter the cola business, and just before Holi, he announced the debut of three flavours and brought Campa, the most well-known brand from the 1970s, from Reliance. Following this, a price war sprang out in Cola Market, and other businesses began lowering the cost of their goods.
Campa Cola put pressure on other brands
After this deal, the business intended to introduce the product on Diwali. However, it was later extended until Holi 2023. Recently Orange, Lemon and Cola flavours of this 50 year old beverage brand Campa Cola were introduced. The previously popular Pepsi, Coca-Cola, and Sprite are seeing market success as a result of the introduction of these three flavours. The introduction of three Campa Cola flavours has put pressure on other brands.
Coca-Cola has reduced the cost
The summer season has begun, and businesses are attempting to draw in customers. With Campa Cola’s entrance into the market, competition has undoubtedly risen. Due to this, Coca-Cola has reduced the cost of a 200ML bottle by Rs. 5. Coca-Cola has decided to lower the price in those states where the least amount of stock is stored.
Price drops in Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Maharashtra
The price of Coca-Cola has reportedly been lowered in Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Maharashtra from Rs 15 to Rs 10 for a 200 ML bottle as a result of the decision. Also, the credit deposit paid by the shops to keep the Coca-Cola glass bottle has been removed.
