Apple’s First Indian Store Draws Massive Crowds with Tim Cook’s in attendance

Tim Cook: Long lines of Apple fans have formed outside the BKC shop hours before CEO Tim Cook’s anticipated official swearing-in at 11 am. Social media images are circulating of a long line that had formed early on Tuesday. According to the firm, the store is the first Apple-owned location in the nation and has 100 employees who can speak more than 20 different languages between them.

Tim Cook stopped by the BKC store on Monday and shared a photo taken with the staff. He tweeted, “Hello, Mumbai! We can’t wait to welcome our customers to the new Apple BKC tomorrow.” The company’s operations in the nation, which are growing more and more crucial for its future growth, have significantly expanded with the launch of the Apple shop in Mumbai.

Delhi store will only cost the tech giant Rs 40 lakh per month in rent

Along with revealing the wall for the Apple Saket store, the Iphone manufacturer also declared plans to construct a second location in Delhi on April 20. The business claimed that Delhi’s numerous gates, each of which denotes a fresh chapter in the city’s colourful history, served as inspiration for its design. Although considerably smaller than the Mumbai location, the Delhi store will only cost the tech giant Rs 40 lakh per month in rent.
