Pan Aadhaar link: The final day for taxpayers to link their Permanent Account Number (PAN) with Aadhaar has been extended by the federal government. The deadline has been extended until June 30, 2023, per a statement from the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). It stated that a supplementary notification is being issued in this regard. To stop tax evasion, it is crucial to link PAN and Aadhaar. A taxpayer’s PAN card will stop working if they don’t connect the two records. Under such circumstances, the taxpayer will not be allowed to provide, intimate, or cite his PAN.
