To lessen the impact of delays and cancellations brought on by winter fog, Air India has started the “FogCare” campaign. Air India will aggressively contact customers as part of this programme during foggy weather and provide them with the opportunity to reschedule or cancel their disrupted flight at no additional cost.

Flights departing and arriving at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport will be the first to experience the “FogCare” project.
Flight operations are impacted by foggy conditions, which are most common in the mornings and nights throughout the winter. The Air India programme is a preventative step to lessen the impact of fog-related interruption.

Airline will contact flyers and give them option to reschedule/cancel their impacted flight
The airline will get in touch with passengers and provide them the free choice of rescheduling or cancelling their impacted flights. Flight passengers who decide against going to the airport can avoid the inconvenience of long lineups.
