Forbes billionaire 2023: According to reports Elon Musk has officially dropped to second place on Forbes’ annual “World’s Billionaire’s List,” having previously held the top spot. His estimated current net worth is $180 billion, which is $39 billion less than it was the year before. The chairman of French luxury goods company LVMH, Bernard Arnault, is now ahead of Musk in the hierarchy. His net worth reached $211 billion last year, a rise of more than $50 billion. Gautam Adani’s net worth has virtually halved, falling from $90 billion last year to $47.2 billion as a result of the stock decline.
Tesla recovered a good portion of losses this year
Arnault and Elon Musk frequently alternate positions on Forbes’ list of “Real-Time Billionaires.” According to Forbes, Musk’s fortune had decreased since his $44 billion purchase of Twitter, which was financed with Tesla shares, spooked investors and caused Tesla stock to drop precipitously last year. According to sources, Tesla recovered a good portion of those losses this year, but it is still far lower than it was before Musk purchased Twitter.
Jeff Bezos lost the most money of any billionaire on the list
Tesla shares have decreased by 50% since Elon Musk took control of Twitter a year ago, according to Forbes, who also noted that “Elon Musk has basically tweeted himself out of the top spot on the list.” According to the magazine, SpaceX is a success for Musk because its valuation climbed by $13 billion to $140 billion over the previous year. Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, lost the most money of any billionaire on the list ($57 billion), which dropped him from second to third. The loss was caused by Amazon shares losing close to 40% of their value in the previous year.

Ambani’s net worth was $83.4 billion as of March 10, 2023
The owner of the Mumbai Indians cricket team, Mukesh Ambani, not only regained his position as Asia’s richest person on the Forbes Billionaire 2023 list, but he also rose to the position of richest sports franchise owner overall. Steve Ballmer, owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, lost his top rank to Ambani. Even still, shares in Ballmer’s former company, Microsoft, where he served as CEO from 2000 to 2014, plummeted more than those of Ambani’s conglomerate Reliance Industries, which saw a 3% year-over-year decline. Ambani’s net worth was $83.4 billion as of March 10, 2023, when Forbes locked in net worth for the 2023 World’s Billionaires list, whereas Ballmer’s was $80.7 billion.
