Gautam Adani Reclaims Title as Asia's Richest Man, Overtaking Chinese Billionaire

Gautam Adani, the chairman of the Adani Group, has reclaimed his position as Asia’s richest man. By displacing Chinese billionaire Zhong Shanshan, he has reclaimed this status. Adani had this status until a day ago. Gautam Adani is now ranked 18th in the Bloomberg Billionaire Index with a total net worth of $61.8 billion, while Zhong Shanshan is placed 19th with a net worth of $61.6 billion. With a net worth of $85.2 billion, Mukesh Ambani is still the richest person in Asia. Ambani ranks 13th on the list of the world’s richest people.

Top 10 American Billionaires in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index

The Bloomberg Billionaires Index continues to be dominated by American billionaires. The only non-American in second place with a net worth of $187 billion is Bernard Arnault. Arnault is a native of France. Elon Musk is ranked first among the top 10 American billionaires with a net worth of $ 205 billion, followed by the other 9 billionaires in the list.

Ranking in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index
